How much do you charge?
The initial visit and registration is free. The normal rates for each service can be seen on the Rates page. There will be a higher charge for Bank Holidays, weekends and out of hours as stated.
What areas do you cover?
I currently only cover the Leighton Buzzard / Linslade area.
How much notice do I need to give for bookings?
As much as possible, although I will try my best to fit you in at short notice. The consultation and at least one solo walk before joining a group walk is a requirement before any further walks can take place.
What will happen during the initial consultation?
During the initial consultation I will come to your home to meet you and your pet(s). If you decide to go ahead with one of my services we will then go through the necessary forms required. If you require dog walking I will aim to fit the solo walk in at this point, if convienient for us both. Ideally you will have a spare key(s) for me to take home with me where it will be kept safe and secure until I am scheduled to take care of your pet(s).
What happens to my key(s) after this?
If we have an ongoing arrangement, it is preferable for me to keep your key(s) for as long as you require my services. If I am looking after your pet as a one off I will return your key within 3 days.
What if my pet becomes unwell whilst in your care?
I will attempt to contact you or your emergency contact. Your pet will be taken to their own vet or the nearest vet available if this is impractical.
How do I pay?
I accept cash, cheques, or bank transfers. Payment must be made in full either before or on the first date of booking. If you will not be at home you must leave payment for me to pick up when I look after your pet.
